About the song production
"Rebel Messiah" is the newest song on this record, but even that has over 5 years of history. The main/chorus riff was written first, and the verse riffs very soon after. Most of the lyrics are quite old too, but the song truly came together during the last year of writing the EP - which is true for all the songs.
The song features some familiar faces from the previous EP: ferocious drumming from my mate Mikko Matikka, and completing the rhythm section is the great Klym Lysiuk from Ukraine, on bass.
The vocal performance by Denisse Ferrara from Argentina is thrilling, capturing the emotional ups and downs of the song. Jasmin Mišić has mixed and mastered the song like the rest of this EP, and did a marvellous job.
