"Like a Knife" is a track with a long history. The emotional song has an arch where it develops from wistful and sombre to angry, with an performances from the vocalist and the whole band.

About the song production
This song could be described as my oldest song. Its first parts were written when I learned my first guitar chords in 2001, I used to play this Em-G-Am-C chord progression over and over.
Slowly over the years the song got new parts, first the main melody, later on the guitar riffs in the bridge. The lyrics are the latest top most layer of this song, the history of which is like a geological excavation.
The main lyric line of the chorus came from my friend Antti Markkila, when I shared this song with him way back.
The song features some familiar faces from the previous EP: solid drumming from my mate Mikko Matikka, and completing the rhythm section is the great Klym Lysiuk from Ukraine, on bass.
The vocalist Alex Hamilton from Canada impresses with his combination of clean and scream vocals. Jasmin Mišić has mixed and mastered the song like the rest of this EP, and did a marvellous job.
